car2go is the pioneer of free-floating carsharing and is one of the leading mobility services of Daimler AG. The concept is simple: worldwide over 14,000 smart and Mercedes-Benz vehicles can be reserved and rented via a cost-free smartphone app at any time. Today, over three million customers use this flexible mobility concept in 26 locations in Europe, North America and China. car2go thus offers a sustainable solution for urban mobility and contributes as a part of the mobility mix significantly to the reduction of congestion in cities. Additionally, at three European locations car2go operates 100 percent electric fleets with 1,400 vehicles, making car2go one of the biggest electric, fully flexible carsharing providers. Driving these positive effects continuously forward is part of car2go’s main objectives. car2go is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daimler AG and has its headquarters in Leinfelden-Echterdingen near Stuttgart.



From the beginning, the goal of DriveNow has always been to provide people within cities a flexible and sustainable mobility alternative to car ownership while working together with cities to reduce traffic and emissions problems.

In European metropolises, DriveNow offers a so called free-floating concept with the following high-quality car brands BMW, Mercedes-Benz, smart and MINI. Where you can spontaneously rent and park these cars anywhere within a defined area – the cars are usually within walking distance. In total, more than 20,000 vehicles are available for flexible rentals in more than 30 major cities worldwide – as well as more than 3,000 of the cars are electrically powered.



mytaxi was founded in June 2009 and was the world’s first taxi app that established a direct connection between a passenger and a taxi driver. With over 10 million downloads and 120,000 registered taxi drivers, mytaxi is the leading taxi e-hailing app in Europe.

Since September 2014, mytaxi is part of the Daimler Mobility Services GmbH (part of the Daimler Group). In July 2016, mytaxi announced the merger with Hailo, the leading taxi app in the UK and Ireland, an important step to become the leading taxi e-hailing app in Europe. In February 2017, mytaxi announced the acquisition of Beat (previously Taxibeat), the leading taxi app in Greece, available also in Peru and Chile. In June 2017, mytaxi announced the acquisition of Clever Taxi, the leading taxi app in Romania.
With more than 600 employees in the whole entity, mytaxi spans across UK, Germany, Ireland, Austria, Poland, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Sweden as well as Greece, Peru and Chile (with Beat) and Romania (with Clever Taxi). In total, it is available in over 70 cities of eleven European and two South American Countries.



NorisBike is the public bike rental system of the city of Nuremberg. Here 750 bikes are available around the clock at over 60 locations. The bikes can be rented and returned at every location. At their solar-powered terminals, the rental process is fully automated via an App or telephone hotline. nextbike GmbH is the system operator.

The goal of stadtmobil is to reduce private car ownership while improving mobility for the individual. Relieving cities from traffic increases the quality of life, does the climate well and creates space because not so many parking spaces are needed. stadtmobil therefore expressly sees itself as a supplement to public transport, cycling and walking.
