For this you have to book all your rides with the public transport with the “SSB BestPreis” app. After the booking of a ride you get the right to use the public transport. Afterwards our algorithm optimizes all booked rides. At the end of the period under review you only pay the optimized ticket-combinations of your rides.

“BestPreis” denotes the period of 24 hours from 3 a.m. to 2:59 a.m. as a day. During this period you can book as much rides as you want in the same tariff zones without paying more than the price of a day ticket.

Within each full week of your current observation period, your tickets can be optimized to a weekly ticket. This means that you can move freely within the same zones during a week that is fully within your current observation period without exceeding the price of a weekly ticket.

At the end of the observation period, your tickets can be optimized to a monthly ticket or 9 o'clock monthly ticket. The observation period always has the length of the month in which the first ticket of the respective period was purchased.
If you always travel in the same zones, you will never pay a higher price than the corresponding monthly ticket with the "BestPreis".

The "BestPreis" mainly targets customers who use public transport occasionally, which is why only short-haul tickets, single tickets, day tickets, weekly tickets, 9 o'clock monthly tickets and monthly tickets are included in the optimization for now.
