Daimler AG and the BMW Group are bundling their mobility services in a new joint venture in order to offer you as a user an even more far-reaching alternative to private means of transport: In the new moovel app by REACH NOW you can search for connections for public transport and book mobility services from car2go, nextbike and mytaxi directly via the app.
DriveNow vehicles are also displayed in the app. Via a link to the DriveNow app you can rent the vehicles from DriveNow.
This allows you to tailor your trip to your own needs, priorities and preferences.

Even without a registration the moovel app always finds the best public transport connection to your destination. In order to make a binding booking for mobility services, it is necessary to register with us. Then you can use our app to use various mobility services without having to register for each new service. Convenient, isn't it?

It’s your choice - you can pay your bookings with PayPal or with your creditcard (Visa, Master, Amex). Simply add it in your payment method.

Better safe than sorry. That is why you should select the according payment profile before booking so that your invoice is issued to the correct address after the booking. Usually, a subsequent change of the billing address is not possible.

We store and use the data you enter in the moovel app in the context of brokering the services offered by us. Your data is only forwarded to our partner services if you make a booking for the respective service via the app. In addition, our partner service only receives the data required to process the booked service.

No problem, you can reset your PIN in the app by clicking on "Reset PIN" in the settings menu. You will then receive an e-mail with a link to reset your PIN. You can reassign your PIN when you make your next booking.

If you want to cancel your account, please send us your cancellation by e-mail from your registered e-mail address at moovel to hello@moovel.com. Please also tell us the reason for your cancellation.

Before you can use car2go vehicles, please note the following:

  • We have to validate your driver’s licence and address. This may take some time. You can easily upload your driver's license and a photo of yourself directly in the app for validation.
  • Unfortunately, you cannot connect your driver's license scanned into the car2go app with the moovel app.
  • Due to insurance regulations it is necessary that you have been in possession of a valid driver’s licence for at least one year.
  • European driver’s licences from the European Union (EU) and/or the European Economic Community (EEC) are accepted as valid driver’s licences. Non-EU/EWG driver’s licences are only accepted in combination with an international driver’s licence.

Your car2go can be parked at any publicly accessible location within the car2go business area. Further information on the business areas can be found on the car2go website:www.car2go.com.

Be fair and leave the car2go to the next person. Cancel your reservation free of charge in the moovel app.

Through the mytaxi icon in the moovel app, you can order a mytaxi to a pick-up location of your choice. You can select the pick-up location by moving the needle in the map. You can follow the arrival of your taxi live and see further information such as the licence plate, vehicle type and the name of your driver.
After your journey you can pay and even tip conveniently via the app.

No, mytaxi can only be booked in the moovel app for immediate pick-up.

Due to the merger with BMW, you now have access to thousands of additional vehicles. You need the DriveNow app in addition to book vehicles, but you can search and select them in the moovel app.
If you select a DriveNow vehicle in the moovel app, click on "Rent" to go to the DriveNow app and rent the selected vehicle. The DriveNow app has to be installed on your smartphone and you have to be registered separately.

Use the nextbike icon in the moovel app to search and select nearby nextbike stations or bikes. The route to a selected nextbike station or bike is automatically displayed and you also have the option to start navigation to the selected station or bike.
Select one of the available bikes from the station and click on "Rent". The code for the bike lock will then be displayed.
When you finish your rental, lock the bike again at a station. In some cities it is possible to park a nextbike outside a station, but there may be an additional charge for this, which will be indicated to you in the app.
Make sure that the bike is locked and the rental is completed correctly. Usually the rental ends automatically when you lock your bike, but in some cases the app will require manual confirmation that the rental has been completed and the bike has been locked.
Please note that it is only possible to rent one bike at a time.

The invoice for your nextbike rental is sent to you automatically by e-mail when you have finished a rental. The final price is calculated according to the rental period of your nextbike, the fare is displayed in the app before you rent your bike. The payment will be charged from your payment method automatically.
