SG is a temporary on demand shuttle service for Certis CISCO employees provided by SMRT in partnership with moovel. During the test period from October 8 to October 13, you will be able to use the provided app to book vehicles to get from your deployment site back to the base. You will be picked up at so called Virtual Stops. The app will guide you to the stop. This could be e.g. a pick up point of a commercial building. Please make sure that you are present at the Virtual Stop at the time displayed in the App.

The Flex SG shuttles can only be booked via the App on your smartphone. Please ensure that you have the latest version of the App installed and that you are logged in with you user account. You will need an active internet connection to book and ride Flex SG.

After your shift ends, you can request a shuttle ride from your deployment site to Certis CISCO base. Simply type in Certis as your destination. The origin of your trip is automatically determined by the GPS location of your smartphone. If the GPS should not locate you correctly, you can also enter the name of your deployment site in the search box. If you select the displayed connection, you will receive an overview of the trip details. You can then book the ride by tapping on the “book now” button. Once you have successfully booked the ride, you will see an overview of your booking. This will show you the exact pick-up location and how you get there as well as the estimated time of pick-up. Please make sure that you are present at the Virtual Stop at the time displayed in the App.

Flex SG operates daily from October 8 - 13 at the times you need to go back to base.

Flex SG can only be used for immediate bookings. Once a vehicle is offered in the app, you have a few moments to confirm the booking. If the timer runs out without your confirmation, you have to re-request the ride.

You cannot book for several riders, every passenger has to book by themself.

You have the option to manually verify the vehicle by confirming the license plate number noted in the app matches the vehicle arriving at your location. If your smartphone has Bluetooth active and the App is open, the system will automatically confirm that you are boarding the correct vehicle.

When demand is high all vehicles may already be full and as a result, you will not be able to book a ride. In this case, you will receive a notification informing you that the booking cannot be completed. However, the app will then give you a notification and inform you about the next steps. In general you should wait a few minutes and try to book again. If still no ride is available for you please call the indicated number and a ride will be provided to you.

The idea behind the Flex SG app is that it connects multiple passengers who are going to base at the same time. The system determines a route for the driver that allows him to pick up multiple passengers without a long detour. As a result, there may be minor detours, depending on how many passengers are in the vehicle.

You should not cancel your ride unless a wrong destination or pick up point has been entered.
